Ren Floyd and Holly Brown *Ring* in the New Year!

Their beautiful ceremony filled with tender moments, the ohh-la-la glitzy and glamorous reception, the cool big band sound, the delicious food....everything, really, everything, was over the top and spectacular for the New Year's Eve celebration joining Ren Floyd and Holly Brown in marriage.  Ren and Holly are a great couple, and thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding.  Congratulations and best wishes for a life time of love and happiness, and years of celebrating on New Year's Eve!

Historic Christ Chapel | Tasha Goodwin and Kevin Cowan Wedding

Groom Kevin and I stood anxiously awaiting at the Altar for the arrival of his Bride.  The doors to the Chapel were closed, and at that magical moment, the doors opened and before our eyes, Tasha, his glowing and beautiful Bride, entered and was escorted to the Altar on the arm of her beloved grandfather.  Tasha and Kevin met at the Altar, and exchanged their vows and promises of love and blessings.  What a magical night for two incredible people who exchanged beautiful wedding vows.

Tim and Julie at Island Woods

Congratulations to Tim and Julie on their wedding which took place at their home in Eagle.  Emily, Julie's daughter, was the flower girl, and friends Bryon and Marina accompanied the couple at the altar.    The colors of fall made for a beautiful backdrop for a waterfront wedding.  Congratulations!

All Roads Lead to Home | Jen and Eric

Jennifer Fish and Eric Liles found true love, and were joined in marriage on a sunny Sunday afternoon.  Jen and Eric exchanged their vows in an outdoor garden wedding at the beautiful home of her aunt and uncle, Jan and Bob Kimbrough, in Kuna.  There weren't too many dry eyes during the ceremony (including mine), and it was my privilege and honor to officiate at their sweet ceremony.  Jen is my lovely niece, and along with her parents Susan and Arg White, we all welcomed Eric into the family with open arms.

The day were speculator!  Loving words, big hugs, meaningful toasts, all for a wonderful couple ready for their beach honeymoon to Mexico!

Congratulations to a very special couple!

McCall Wedding for Alana Meyer and Nate Burke

A breathtaking bride and her handsome groom were married on the afternoon of September 7th at a beach front wedding at the home of the bride's parents in McCall, Idaho.  The Altar was a large tree stump the three of us stood on, beautifully decorated and on the water's edge.  Alana and Nate incorporated the "Seven Spices of Life" ceremony.  Each family member poured layers of spices and herbs which represented a symbolic meaning for each spice.

First Layer - Alana, the Bride.  Salt - The Foundation
Second Layer - Marco, Bride's Father.  Rosemary - Long Life-Prosperity
Third Layer - Ellen, Bride's Mother.  Basil - Good Fortune, Wealth, Happiness
Fourth Layer - Alyssa, Bride's Sister.  Curry - To Protect Family
Fifth Layer - Megan, Groom's Sister.  Poppy Seed - The Fulfill Dreams
Sixth Layer - Barbara, Groom's Mother.  Paprika - Passion
Seventh Layer - Lauren, Groom's Sister.  Thyme - Strength and Courage
Eight Layer - Cam, Groom's Father.  Oregano - The Joy in Life
Final Layer -  Nate, the Groom.  Final Layer of Salt to signifying Unity.

The music was provided by Trish Williams, a friend of the bride, and was incredible.  Trish set the mood for a festive party.  The food, flowers, desserts, photographs and the beautiful sun peaking through the pines took my breath away.  The love between the family members celebrating the marriage of Alana and Nate was in every detail, and I was truly honored to be a part of this family's celebration.  A special shout-out to Marco and Ellen, and Cam and Barbara!
