12.13.14 | Special Date for a Special Couple!

Tonya Kryger and Doug Friedman decided to marry on a sequential date that won't happen again until 1-2-34.  Thousands of couples planned their winter wedding date on 12.13.14 and Tonya and Doug were one of them!

Doug and Tonya were married in their beautiful new home, and were joined their daughter Julianna, and parents Paul and Kay Vallerie, and Harvey and Ellen Friedman, as they promised to love and care for one another in the years to come.  It was a wonderful ceremony and I wish them both the best of love and happiness in the years to come.

Nichole and Israel | The Bishops' House Wedding

Nichole and Israel were married on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the historic Bishops' House in Boise.  Nichole and Israel, along with their children, Lillian, Isabel and Noah, brought their families together in a loving ceremony which also included vows to the children.  The ceremony was touching, meaningful, and very heartfelt for this wonderful couple.

Nichole had many special reasons to select The Bishops' House for her wedding, but one of the sweetest is the etched glass over one of the bedroom doors that says "Angela"...her birth mother's name.  The room was used as the Bride's room, and was absolutely perfect in so many ways.

Many years of love and blessings to Nichole and Israel, and their families.

Table Rock Wedding | Meghann and Brett

The love and smiles were endless at the top of the City of Boise on Sunday, October 12, 2014. Scenic Table Rock was the incredible spot where Meghann and Brett exchanged their vows, their rings and pledged their love for one another.  It was a windy, yes, w i n d y wedding but nothing got in the way for Meghann, Brett and little Tate.  Now, every time they look up to the skies east of Boise and see the Cross on Table Rock, they will have a beautiful memory of their beautiful wedding day.

Shauna and Jerry | The Farm, The Dress and the Horse!

Shauna Kitto and Jerry Key were married outside their home on the grounds of their beautiful farm in Kuna on October 11, 2014.  Shauna and Jerry recently moved to the farm this past spring, and among the treasures from the previous owners, they found a beautiful wedding dress that was calling Shauna's name!  After saying Yes to the Dress, a wedding was planned and it couldn't have been a more beautiful way to begin their lives together, along with their children Matthew, Jacob, Lilly and Milo (and Mikey, Shauna's horse)!

Kim Watson and Travis Adams | Ste. Chapelle Winery Wedding

A beautiful bride, a handsome groom and a gorgeous venue all add up to an amazing wedding celebration for Kim Watson and Travis Adams.

The emotions ran high when Kim's grandfather walked her down the aisle, add to that the loving vows that Travis promised to Kaylee, and at the end, a closing prayer and kiss to seal their vows, all packaged together made an endearing wedding ceremony joining two families together.  Ste. Chapelle Winery was the beautiful venue the couple selected for their ceremony.  Simply stunning.

Blessings to Kim and Travis!

From Caves to Carriages | Kara and Matt

Kara and Matt met while students at Boise State University, where they shared a cave exploration class.  Studying in the underground, they soon became friends.  Over the years, they developed a deep bond of trust, admiration and love for one another.

Kara and Matt were married on the beautiful grounds of the Eagle Island Event Center on a sunny Saturday afternoon.  The day couldn't have been more perfect as they were carried off in a white horse drawn carriage immediately after their ceremony.  They rejoined their guests and families for a memorable and fun reception.

Kara and Matt also incorporated an unique element, an Anniversary Box, in their ceremony where they each wrote a "love letter" to the other, and expressed why they fell in love with one another, and what they admire about each other.  They placed their unread, love letters in a box, along with a bottle of wine, and then lastly, nailed the box closed only to be opened on the occasion of their 5th wedding anniversary when they will read their love letters from today.    Pretty romantic don't you think?
