From Caves to Carriages | Kara and Matt

Kara and Matt met while students at Boise State University, where they shared a cave exploration class.  Studying in the underground, they soon became friends.  Over the years, they developed a deep bond of trust, admiration and love for one another.

Kara and Matt were married on the beautiful grounds of the Eagle Island Event Center on a sunny Saturday afternoon.  The day couldn't have been more perfect as they were carried off in a white horse drawn carriage immediately after their ceremony.  They rejoined their guests and families for a memorable and fun reception.

Kara and Matt also incorporated an unique element, an Anniversary Box, in their ceremony where they each wrote a "love letter" to the other, and expressed why they fell in love with one another, and what they admire about each other.  They placed their unread, love letters in a box, along with a bottle of wine, and then lastly, nailed the box closed only to be opened on the occasion of their 5th wedding anniversary when they will read their love letters from today.    Pretty romantic don't you think?
