Brent and Denise | 25 Year Marriage Vow Renewal

What an honor for me to perform the vow renewal ceremony for my dear friend Denise and her husband Brent.  Denise and I have been friends since we were 16 so this was an extra special event for me.  

When Denise and I met for breakfast earlier this summer (wait, it just one month ago), we talked about their upcoming silver wedding anniversary as well as their recent move to their beautiful brand spanking new home in NW Meridian.  By the time we wrapped up coffee and breakfast, we were planning and organizing a (surprise) vow renewal ceremony AND house warming party!  Fast track - the landscaper was called, Goodwood BBQ was ordered, and invitations went to a small group of their family and friends.  

The celebration was a huge success because Denise and Brent are wonderful people, caring, giving and happy to be together.  Thank you for letting me be a part of your love story.

Paul and Kay | 50 Year Wedding Anniversary and Vow Renewal 1967 - 2017

Paul and Kay Vallerie were married on August 19, 1967 in Stanford, Montana. On Saturday, August 19, 2017, they celebrated 50 years of marriage at a celebration hosted by their daughter, Tonya Friedman, her husband Doug, and granddaughter, Julianna. Friends and family joined the couple in the Affinity Clubhouse in Boise.

I had the pleasure of officiating their surprise wedding vow renewal. Paul was escorted by Julianna, and Kay was escorted down the aisle by Doug. The couple knew there was a golden wedding anniversary celebration, but the vow renewal was a complete surprise orchestrated by their daughter Tonya and myself. It was a teary, emotional, and beautiful ceremony, and afterwards, a celebration was held with music, food and bubbly. I had the honor of officiating the wedding of Doug and Tonya a few years ago and was over the moon happy they asked me to officiate her parents golden anniversary vow renewal.

Congratulations to an amazing couple, and their 50 years of marriage!

Luis and Jessica | June 3, 2017 | Hammett, Idaho

Luis and Jessica were married in a small, intimate, country side wedding at the home of their good friend, Caroline.  The evening and backdrop were just stunning, and the bride and groom topped it off by tying the knot on Saturday, June 3rd. 

As part of their wedding ceremony, Luis and Jessica exchanged 13 gold coins. It's a simple ceremony where Luis gave Jessica the 13 gold coins to represent his responsibility as a provider, and his trust in Jessica with their material possessions.  The coins can also represent different values that the couple want to share between themselves as represented in the exchanging of the gold coins.

Ryan and Kristen | May 27, 2017 | Bogus Basin Wedding

Ryan and Kristen were married at one of their very favorite spots on the planet...Bogus Basin Ski Resort.  Ryan has been skiing since he was two years ago, and there was no question that their mountain wedding would be held on top of Boise's very own ski resort.  

Ryan and Kristen met more than 4 years ago while Ryan was teaching a CPR class.  He not only taught Kristen how to save a life, they brought their lives together on a beautiful slope on a sunny Saturday afternoon in May.

It was a truly fun and speculator wedding, and Ryan and Kristen were surround by their friends and family to wish them a lifetime of love.  Cheers and best wishes Ryan and Kristen!  #BogusBasinWedding 

Tyler + Kelly | May 13, 2017 | Alpine Ponds

Tyler and Kelly were married on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Alpine Ponds in Meridian, Idaho.  Their families and friends joined them for an afternoon celebration as they were joined in marriage.  I had the honor of officiating their vows.

Mikala + Geoffrey | January 1, 2017 | The Rose Room, Boise

A New Year's Day Wedding for Mikala and Geoffrey!  What a wonderful way to ring in 2017 by having a wedding uniting two amazing people.  

The ceremony took place at 4:30 pm in the afternoon at the Rose Room in downtown Boise. Mikala and Geoffrey were joined by family and friends, many traveling from Connecticut, for their wedding celebration.

The couple met in 2014 through a mutual friend.  The couple choose January 1st as their wedding as Geoffrey is serving in the U.S. Air Force and could possibly be deployed soon.  They wanted to tie the knot......sooner rather than later.
